1) a pet that is house-trained knows that it must go outside or use a special container inside when it needs to get rid of urine or faeces from its body. The American word is housebroken.
2) humorous knowing how to behave well in the home, for example by doing jobs that need to be done or by keeping it clean. The American word is housebroken.
